Vehicles

The vehicles view in the Manage area presents a listing of all vehicles defined for the customer account. The REEN system identifier, vehicle model, vehicle registration, REEN depot (site) identifier, and supported content types are shown for each vehicle.

Note that this view will only be visible for customers employing the REEN smart plans feature.

It is possible to search for a particular vehicle by any of the above criteria by typing the information to match in the search field at the top of the view.

Add a new vehicle

To add a new vehicle, select the "+ ADD VEHICLE" option in the top right corner of the vehicles listing view.

In the form presented, enter the model name and registration of the new vehicle.

Select the depot site where the vehicle is based from the pull-down selection list.

Select the container types supported by the vehicle in the pull-down selection list.

To define the content types and capacities supported by the vehicle, click "+ Add" under the "Capacities" field. In the form presented, select the appropriate content type from the pull-down menu, specify the total volume of that content type supported, and the compression ratio of the content type. Then click "Add". Repeat for as many content types as required.

Specify the operational and physical aspects of the vehicle in the provided fields. Note that the specified physical aspects will affect routing based on vehicle restrictions for weight and size.

If needed, an external ID can be associated with the area.

Update the details of a vehicle

To edit an existing vehicle, open the vehicle form by selecting the vehicle from the vehicles listing.

The form for modifying an existing vehicle is the same as used for adding a new vehicle, except that its fields are pre-populated to reflect the current vehicle configuration. Modify the details of the vehicle as needed and click "Save".
