Update or Delete a Site

Edit/Update a Site

To edit an existing site, open the site view by selecting the site from the site listing, and then click on the edit icon in the top right corner of the view.

The form for modifying an existing site is the same as used for adding a new site, except that its fields are pre-populated to reflect the current site configuration. Modify the details of the site as needed and click "Save".

Add a container to a site

To add a container to a site, select the "+ Add container" option in the top right of the site view.

In the form presented, select the content type to from the pull-down menu provided. If the desired content type is not yet defined, see the section on managing content types.

Select the appropriate container type from the pull-down menu provided. If the desired container type is not yet defined, see the section on managing container types.

A listing of any available containers of the specified container type will be displayed. To use an existing container, select the desired container from the listing.

To create a new container, click the "+ NEW CONTAINER" option at the top right of the form.

If needed, a serial number and/or an external ID can be associated with the new container.

Click "Add" to finish adding the container to the site.

Edit an existing container at a site

To edit the details of a container installed at a site, open the site view and in the container listing click on the vertical ellipsis menu to the right of the container and select "Edit container".

Modify the container as needed in the form provided, and click "SAVE".

Remove a container from a site

To remove a container from a site, open the site view and in the container listing click on the vertical ellipsis menu to the right of the container and select "Remove container".

When asked if you are sure if you wish to remove the container from the site, click "REMOVE", or else click "CANCEL".

Delete a container (and remove from a site)

To delete a container, which will also remove the container from the site, open the site view and in the container listing click on the vertical ellipsis menu to the right of the container and select "Delete container".

When asked if you are sure if you wish to delete the container from the site, click "DELETE", or else click "CANCEL".

Remove (uninstall) a sensor from a container

To remove (uninstall) a sensor from a container, open the site view and in the container listing click on the vertical ellipsis menu to the right of the container and select "Remove sensor".

When asked if you are sure if you wish to remove the sensor from the container, click "REMOVE", or else click "CANCEL".

Delete a site

To remove a site from the service, open the site summary view and click "DELETE" in the bottom left corner of the view.

You will be prompted to confirm deletion of the site. To delete the site, click "DELETE", or else click "CANCEL".

The site details will be archived and no longer available for use. All associated containers will also be disassociated from the site.
